How WebPion works

WebPion starts from your need and file, then helps you choose the useful action. Processing, limits and next steps are explained before asking you to trust the result.

1. Choose

Drop one or more files and start from the real goal: convert, clean, inspect, read or assemble. WebPion identifies compatible actions locally.

2. Process locally

For operations marked as local, file content is processed on your device. Paths that deliberately send data, such as Contact, are explained separately.

3. Verify

Compare the file, preview, metadata, recognized text or observed clues. An automated output is something to review, not evidence to accept blindly.

4. Export

Download the result individually or in a batch, then continue to another tool if a second action is useful. Technical exports remain readable and documented.

Five movements

Five tools, five clear intentions

Prism, Clean, Verify, Read and PDF cover different moments. Choose the tool from the decision you need to make, then review the result before continuing.

Prism

Need: Process, convert or optimize several compatible files without switching between multiple tools.
Action: Prism centralizes import, preview and available local transformations to build an exportable batch.
Limit: Formats and performance remain constrained by bundled engines, browser, memory and device capabilities.

Next : Inspect with Verify, rebuild with Clean or continue to PDF depending on the result you need.

Clean

Need: Reduce metadata carried by an image before publishing or sharing it.
Action: Clean decodes and rebuilds the image locally without reintroducing metadata that the reconstruction does not copy.
Limit: Metadata not detected is not proof that no other data or provenance information exists.

Next : Review the rebuilt file and use Verify if you want to inspect what remains observable.

Verify

Need: Observe what a file actually reveals before drawing conclusions about origin or structure.
Action: Verify reads accessible metadata, structure, fingerprint and provenance clues locally.
Limit: It certifies neither author, authenticity nor origin, and a missing signal is not proof of absence.

Next : If an image should be rebuilt before sharing, continue with Clean; otherwise keep the report as an observation.

Read

Need: Recover text from an image, PDF or text file without relying on a remote OCR service.
Action: Read extracts native text and uses local Tesseract for images or scanned pages when OCR is required.
Limit: Recognition depends on quality, framing, contrast and language, and the output must always be reviewed.

Next : Copy or export the text, then return to PDF or Prism if the document needs recomposition or transformation.

PDF

Need: Assemble several documents in a chosen order into one PDF.
Action: PDF composes compatible files locally, preserves the displayed order and generates the final document in the browser.
Limit: Merging does not interpret the meaning of the content and does not replace reviewing the final document.
